Jon Gold serves as a Licensed counselor (therapist) in Connecticut and Massachusetts, and mental performance coach. As a coach, Jon works with athletes, coaches, and athletic programs ranging from youth to professional. Jon uses mental skills and collaborative conversation to guide athletes and coaches into their own awareness, shift their mindsets, and raise their game.
Prior to his practice, Jon played collegiate club baseball at Emmanuel College (Boston, MA). At Emmanuel, Jon was the president of the club team serving as captain, coach, and director of operations. Upon graduating from Emmanuel, Jon went on to coach high school, travel, and collegiately. Each and every step of the way Jon prioritized preparing the players mentally so that they could best perform physically. He did this by implementing mental skills sessions into practice plans and inter-squad scrimmages. While coaching Jon earned his Master’s degree from Boston College in Mental Health Counseling.
